January 28th 2010

Got ALL of the new photographers who signed up before today added to our website! We are now working on updating certain information and getting the photographers who signed up today onto the list. We opened back up applications for families early because we just could NOT wait to get the ball rolling. We already have 4 sessions in the works- be excited! If you check out the Meet the heroes page you can start to see our newest heroes gracing the website too! Thank you again for everyones patience- it is paying off! For anyone who applied last year and did not hear a response APPLY AGIAN! Some peoples emails might have gotten “lost” but we don’t ever ignore any emails on purpose. Wether your a family applying or a photographer if you didn’t hear from us the first time please come back and try again. Our communication has gotten so much better with the new website and email server- most people will find you should get a response within hours!! We heard your concerns and we are working to change them, thanks for bearing with us!

Add our new face book page here!

A new page was just put up- photographers be SURE to check it out! It’s our resources page. It provides photographers will all of the forms they will need to download when matched with one of our children, and also has web banners for your websites and blogs. This page also has our flyers and other web banners that can be used and downloaded by our families, supporters, and hospitals to help spread the word. Be sure to check it out RIGHT HERE!

The next 3 days we will be going through applications and accepting our newest photographers! Be sure to get your applications in photographers- because after Feb 1st it is going to be all about the children! Our applications for families will be open again Feb 1st for our 2010 team of heroes! We are getting very excited and cannot wait to meet some more amazing children! Thank you for your continued patience through all of this as we are still getting everything up and running. -WELCOME BACK! After many months of hard work and preparation the new website is finally up and running! A huge thanks to Gina, Darcy, and Matt for all of their hard work and dedication to helping get the website back on it’s feet. As you can see there are still sections of the website waiting to be added back but for now all of the most important pages are up! 

Right now our main focus is on building up our photography team! We are no longer holding sessions for 2009 but will be starting again in Feb 2010! Families be sure to check back in January to apply for a session with one of our photographers, the application will appear on the for the heroes page. Photographers you can start signing up now to be added to the listing! After applying you should hear back from us within a week with more information on what to do and where your information will be placed. 

Thank you again for all of your patience and understanding since our old server crashed back in April. We are hoping that NEVER happens again!!
